- • fix install error
The installer is not code-signed yet. Windows SmartScreen will warn you once - choose More info, then Run anyway.
Installing on the tablet
Written for the Redmi Pad SE on HyperOS, but the same steps apply to most Android 13-15 tablets. Setting up more than one? Use the Windows tool instead - it does all of this over USB.
- 1
Download the APK on the tablet
Tap Download APK above, or scan the code with the tablet to open this page there.
- 2
Open the file and allow this source
HyperOS asks once, per app. Allow installs from whichever app you downloaded with - the browser or Files.
- 3
Dismiss the Play Protect warning
Android warns about apps installed outside the Play Store. Choose Install anyway, or Install without scanning.
- 4
If HyperOS still blocks it
Settings > Privacy protection > Special permissions > Install unknown apps, pick your browser, and turn it on. Then retry.
- 5
Enter your license key
Open the app and type the key. It binds to this tablet and stays valid until you revoke it. Updating later keeps your settings - installs over the top are safe.
